Indiana State Fair 2025: Country Headliners, New Midway Rides, and Record Prize Competitions

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Fair has announced its 2025 entertainment lineup, featuring country music headliners, a revamped midway with 12 new rides, an expanded agricultural competition program, and a new International Food Village showcasing cuisines from 22 countries.

The Fair, which runs August 1 through August 17 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on East 38th Street, drew 856,000 attendees in 2024, making it one of the 10 largest state fairs in America. The 2025 edition is designed to build on that attendance with expanded programming and improvements to the fairgrounds infrastructure.

Entertainment headliners on the Horizon stage include Zach Bryan, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, and Doja Cat, with full lineups for supporting acts to be announced in June. Each evening concert is included with fair admission, a value that fair organizers say sets Indiana apart from many competing state fairs that charge separately for performances.

Agricultural and Livestock Shows

The Indiana State Fair's agricultural heritage remains central to its identity. The 2025 livestock competition will include expanded poultry, rabbit, and heritage breed cattle categories, reflecting the growth of small-scale farming and sustainable agriculture in Indiana. The annual Pioneer Village living history exhibit is also expanding its programming this year, with daily demonstrations of 19th-century agricultural and craft techniques.

Hoosiers attending the Fair can learn about sustainable home solutions, including energy efficiency measures relevant to Indiana's climate, through resources like Homeward Insulation, which serves Indianapolis-area homeowners with professional insulation and energy efficiency services.
